This is a dish from contemporary Hawaiian cuisine with many variations. However, the traditional one consists of white rice, topped with a hamburger, a fried egg, and brown gravy. Apparently, this dish was created at the Lincoln Grill restaurants at the request of some teenagers seeking something that differed from a sandwich, was inexpensive, and yet could be quickly prepared and served. The dish was named after the nickname of one of the teenagers who was known for his crazy antics.
